On 10th June, MTel Telecom Limited and Lou Hau High School held a grand signing ceremony for the “Training Cooperation Agreement for AI Information Management Programme” at the Lou Hau High School auditorium. Both parties officially joined hands to carry out in-depth industry-education integration partnership to jointly cultivate young talent in artificial intelligence and digital information for Macau, supporting the high-quality development of Macau's digital industry and its economic diversification and transformation. Deputy Director Ip Chong Wa, Director Choi Man Chi, President Lam Lon Wai, President Cheang Hong Kuang, Chairman Choi Tak Meng, Principal Zheng Jie Zhao, Managing Director Lo Kuok Keong, President of the Information Technology Association Choi Chin Chong, Vice Presidents Ieong Tat Wai and Lam Chun Fat, along with numerous industry guests and student representatives, attended the signing ceremony to jointly witness this milestone moment where a local Macau telecom enterprise and a distinguished school joined forces to nurture talent.
In his address, Principal Zheng Jie Zhao stated that Lou Hau High School has always upheld "patriotism and love for Macau" as its foundation, with technological innovation as its banner. From establishing Macau's first computer course in 1981 to the current AI Information Management Programme in partnership with Huawei, the school has been actively laying out its presence in the field of Technology education, extending its educational reach to the cutting edge of real industries.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MTel Telecom Limited Choi Tak Meng stated that talent is the core driving force behind of industrial development, and foundational education is the source for nurturing talent in the technology sector. According to the agreement, selected students from Lou Hau High School's AI Information Management Programme will have the opportunity to undertake 400 hours of targeted on-the-job training across various departments of MTel Telecom each year. Unlike a simple visit or experience, this training is grounded in real telecom industry work environments, allowing students to gain comprehensive exposure to cutting-edge roles in artificial intelligence, network operations and maintenance, and data management — completing a transformation from classroom theory to real-world industry practice.

This school-enterprise cooperation signing represents not only the outcome of mutual trust and win-win collaboration between MTel Telecom and Lou Hau High School, but also a brand-new starting point for Macau's industry-education integration and the revitalization of industry through science and education.
